Who We Are

The Moped Outpost was created for travelers and locals who want to explore Seward with freedom, fun, and a sense of adventure. We operate from a convenient trailer setup located in the south harbor parking lot off 4th Street, right near the Gateway Hotel. Our mission is simple: make it easy for you to get on the road and experience the best Seward has to offer.

Our Mopeds

We rent Lance Cali Classic 49cc mopeds, which are beginner friendly, comfortable, and perfect for sightseeing. A standard driver’s license is all you need to ride, and riders must be 18 years or older. Each rental includes a DOT approved helmet, a secure lock, and a quick orientation before you head out. These mopeds reach a maximum speed of 25 to 30 miles per hour, making them ideal for relaxed cruising and scenic exploration.

How Rentals Work

Rentals reservations can be made onsite, dependent on availability, or ahead of time on our website. We offer multiple rental options to fit any schedule or style of adventure:

• 2 Hour Rental — $65 USD

• 4 Hour Rental — $95 USD

• 6 Hour Rental — $115 USD

• 8 Hour Rental — $135 USD

• 24 Hour Rental — $145 USD

• 2 Day Rental — $260 USD

• 3 Day Rental — $350 USD

• 4 Day Rental — $440 USD

• 5 Day Rental — $520 USD

• 6 Day Rental — $580 USD

• 7 Day Rental — $650 USD

Additional Guidelines

• Riders are responsible for any damages. No insurance is provided.

• Prices are subject to additional taxes and fees.

• Helmets and locks are provided free of charge.

• Late fees may apply

• Rentals have a weight limit of 300 lbs.

• All credit cards accepted.

• The Moped Outpost LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone we deem unfit to operate rentals.
